Barlow Media Group, LLC was created as a multi-purpose business for everything digital media. We develop, fund, and produce independent motion pictures, acting as a traditional production company. Yet, we offer the same high-quality production services to other clientele.
We have a diverse team for media strategy, photography, video production & development, advertisement development, graphic design, editing, audio mixing & mastering, and more. We create ideas and see them through until they’re in a digital medium.
Being headquartered in the Chicagoland area allows us to travel to nearly anywhere in the country, should a project require it. If we don’t need to come to you, the world is our boundary.

Founder’s vision.
Barlow Media Group, LLC was founded in 2021 by independent film producer and Illinois native, Alec J. Barlow, the current President & Chief Executive Officer.
He wanted to establish a production company for independent motion pictures that also doubled as a creative outlet and service provider for other businesses and individuals. Barlow acknowledges that everything can be artful, so long as you make it that way. BMG is his visionary playground; a place where he can work alongside other creatives to produce top-tier digital media services, from product images to brand films, all the while working on independent projects for film markets.
Barlow has worked in practically every area of the media industry over the past decade, from wedding photography to motorsports videography to professional sports broadcasting, and much more. Being so well-versed in digital media allows him and his team to address all of BMG’s clients’ needs, while maintaining an artistic edge versus competitors.
